Mark Twain Lake-- March 5, 2010----The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake will temperately close the Warren G. See South Spillway ramp and the ramp at the Hunter/Fishing #70 on March 10, 2010 in order to make inspections behind the main dam. There will be a “draw down” making the water level impossible to navigate. The area will be reopened when water levels return to normal.

EDITOR'S NOTE:  You will still be able to fish off the bank at the South Spillway recreation are although water levels in the re-regulation pool will be low.  The draw down refers to the re-regulation pool (river below the Cannon Dam) NOT Mark Twain Lake itself.
