March 25, 2010 ---Stargazers in northeast Missouri will be starry eyed as they view the breathtaking celestial wonders of the night skies Saturday, April 10. The Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake invites you to join us at Indian Creek Campground’s East Loop to see the sky like never before. St. Louis Astronomical Society will set up their telescopes for all to view. Astronomy and stargazing has always been a great parent and child experience. Staring up in the sky and conveying the majesty and mystery of the heavens to a small child is very awesome experience. This is a completely free learning activity that you can share and enjoyed every time you step outside in the evenings. For more information, phone the Mark Twain Lake Project Office at 573-735-4097.
