June 28, 2010 – Mark Twain Lake, Missouri – The David C. Berti Shooting Range located in the Warren G. See South Spillway Recreation Area at Mark Twain Lake will be closed from dusk Thursday, July 1 until the morning of Monday, July 5 for visitor safety during the Mark Twain Lake Rodeo.  Also, for visitor safety fireworks are prohibited on public lands at Mark Twain Lake.

Spectators can view the 4^th of July fireworks display from the South Overlook and from the grassy knoll on the north end of Cannon Dam.   Be cautious of pedestrians when traveling or parking along the roadway.  Parking for the 4^th of July fireworks display at the dam is limited due to construction in the Warren G. See North Spillway Recreation Area.
