October 18, 2011, Mark Twain Lake - The Indian Creek Campground at Mark Twain Lake turned into a masterpiece showcasing the Halloween spirit the weekend of October 14 and 15, 2011. Thanks to the contributions of many volunteers, the Monroe City Fire Department, and the Monroe City Ambulance Service, the public was able to view imaginatively decorated campsites in a fun and safe environment. With over 4000 visitors enjoying the event, it would have been impossible to provide the public with the Annual Halloween Walk without the participation of these individuals and organizations. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like to extend heartfelt thanks for all their efforts.
