Mark Twain Lake---June 11, 2009- The Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake will host courtesy boat inspections conducted by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 3, 8WR on June 12, 13, and 14th at the Ray Behrens Boat Ramp.

The Coast Guard promotes safety through vessel inspections to reduce deaths and injuries on the nation’s waterways. The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary fundamental roles include protection of the environment, and economic and security interests in any maritime region in which those interests may be at risk, including international waters and America's coasts, ports, and inland waterways.
