We know it's February; the ground hog saw his shadow BUT, it's time to start thinking about spring and the crappie season at Mark Twain. There is no better way to fuel your fire than to visit the upcoming St. Louis Boat and Sports Show in St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome/ America Center, February 10 -14.    You'll see a lot of boats, motors, etc., plus your fishin' friends. Make sure you stop by the Mark Twain Tourism booth, pick up a Timber Ridge Resort brochure, and make your reservation. (Remember Dennis Gill's place fills up fast for weekend accommodations.)  If the 2010 crappie bite and size of fish is close to 2009, you won't want to miss it. Travel safe the remainder of the winter; spring will be here before you know it. Oh yeah, Happy Valentine's Day. See you at "The 'Twain."
